Terra cotta,
a technology whose origins are lost in the mists of time, whose secrets are handed down from father to son.

The golden rules and savoir-faire
of this ancient art have long been known to the highly-skilled craftsmen of the Sologne region in central France.

Today, they prosper still, supplying their talents and top-quality terra cotta tile and bricks for the restoration and decoration of prestigious buildings in the Loire Valley and far beyond.

Since 1890,
five generations of dedicated brick-makers have preserved and enriched this unique and noble art.

"A subtle alchemy between earth, air and fire.
Yes, you need a little bit of magic to transform a dull, unrefined lump of gray clay into a noble, amber-colored object."

Gérard BOUTET
